Search Generative Experience is getting better — and it’s very clearly the future of Google.
Google has made a new way to search for stuff called Search Generative Experience, or SGE. It’s like a test version of Google Search that uses super smart computer stuff to give you answers right away, without making you click on links.
Normally, when you use Google, you see a list of blue links that you have to click to find answers. But with SGE, the answers pop up on the same page. When you ask a question, a box with a green or blue background appears, and it’s like the computer is talking to you with an answer it came up with all by itself.
The computer gets this info from different websites it looked at, and it’s like it read all those pages to give you an answer. If you want to know more, you can ask more questions, and SGE will try to give you even better answers.
How to activate Google Search Generative Experience ?
Right now, not everyone can use SGE. You need to sign up for something called Search Labs by clicking a link. It’s only available to some people in the US who speak English, but you can join a waitlist if you want to try it. You can use SGE on your computer if you have the Chrome web browser, or on your phones using the Google apps for Android and iOS.
