What is an Emotionless Mind?
This is a very important quality for a student and is used in everyday life. For an emotionless Mind, an individual must have the ability to control emotions. The unemotional Mind, Impassive Mind or Apathetic Mind is a state of mind where unfazed by human emotions—the ability to see things with greater ‘perception’. It is the ability to control emotions. If I become Angry, the Mind knows to control the brain which allows me to become calm, rational and in a peaceful state of mind. Brain Control is crucial to getting this superpower of the Emotionless Mind.
From where did this idea come?
It depends on the qualities of the person. Personally, I am a very rational, logical-thinking person. Moreover, my experiences in school, college and generally living in a fast-paced sometimes not giving a fuck society that I am too a part of has made me better and stronger. It helps me survive. I got to train my mind in such a way that I know the emotion of sadness, anger or feeling down is wasteful. It will get me nowhere.
We all are trapped in a bubble and that bubble is of our minds which tells our mind things and actions to take which are limited to the perception of our brain, that is, limited to inside the bubble. It is very very difficult to get out of that bubble as not many of you even think to change yourselves, get less Angry and Control yourself in difficult situations.
How to be Emotionless
To start, only knowing that my current self is trapped in a bubble of limited perception and thoughts is the proper first step in our lives. It is the first goal achieved to help control emotions and achieve an emotionless mind.
Perception
Make your perception wide enough to let it ignore basic emotions of stress and anger. Good Perception lets us perceive things as they are or helps us to calculate the uncertainty of the future to help better tackle our problems. As I said above, only knowing that your perception of viewing things and situations is limited is the first step to accomplishing any goal in life. A rational person thinks about its shortcomings. No individual alive can force you to improve yourself. The moment we decide to change ourselves we will see the result of our hard work slowly but steadily. I always try to be happy and to become happy I like to do productive and creative things in life.
Like this blog is creative and productive. It is Creative as what I am writing is what I am thinking. The way of writing this depicts my creativity level. Productive as this blog will help me achieve goals as every blog does. That is, run ads and earn money to become financially stable. No matter, what one says about money, Money is a thing necessary for survival in today’s society. Money is important part of our life too as it makes us sound-minded and happy. What I mean is,
Happy is a state of mind; If you are not happy you will not produce good results
Restraints to achieving Emotionless Mind
Trying to change yourselves positively will when you start feeling the backlash from the lazy egoistic inner-self but eventually doing productive things, we form what we call a Habit. (blog post soon) (It’s not that simple to try to convince ourselves to do good things out of nowhere; it’s a hard and mentally tiring process)
For instance, when I develop a habit of using my time productively(productivity is different to everybody; for me, it is things that allow me to become happy in the short term including earning money) then if I waste my time watching anime etc I get a feeling from deep within, that is, my inner-self to not waste time and use the time productively. Time is one thing no matter the regret will not come/go back. All topics discussed below are related to this blog on how to control emotions and reach an emotionless mind state.
Intelligent Mind
To develop this habit an individual must have an intelligent mind or what we call a conscious inner-self. (it takes time to develop; a shortcut would be to make good relations with people aspiring to achieve something in life. It’s true those people will not let you come close to themselves bcoz they are already busy with themselves and only want quality people near them but try), which instructs the Brain to do the task-in-hand.
The Right Habits
When the mind keeps telling our brain to do the same task again and again; the quality called Good Habits becomes part of our lives. For instance, when learning to drive a car is very confusing to multitask gear, race and clutch pedal. It’s actually very taxing as we fully concentrate on driving the car, here, our mind is at work. The mind is analyzing and instructs the brain to memorize the steps.
After mastering driving by practising slow and steadily, you have programmed your brain in such a way that you don’t even think about switching gears, releasing the clutch pedal and pressing the race pedal. Everything is unconsciously done by the brain that you-your Mind programmed. This is how habits work. Mentally Taxing to develop but very useful for us. We can also program our brain to like things that we do like reading a book. Then it will not be as mentally taxing as before.
This so-called Habit forms with help of our minds. The mind is also called the soul or the IQ level of the brain. Everything is inter-related, right!? Wondering how this will help you control emotions and achieve an emotionless mind. Well, knowing the theory will guide you in the upcoming long journey to self-improve yourself.
Conclusion: How to control emotions
I conclude my thoughts that to control emotions and be with an emotionless mind is to be achieved when you gain self-realisation of your mistakes, problems and strengths. That will be a start. The journey ahead will be full of wrenches.
