NEGATIVE THOUGHTS and NEGATIVE MINDSET
1.1 Introduction
Negative Thoughts are a weird thing in life. These Negative Thoughts result in tense mindset – So Stop Negative Thoughts.
1.2 Causes of Negative Mindset
Negativity comes as a result of overburden of work, repenting of a done action, unable to correct the past doings or even feeling afraid of failure and sometimes even overthinking about success, worrying about future or not able to control the present.
1.3 Impact of Negative Mindset
Your mind is not in control of the body in this state. What the brain commands the body is leisure activities or unproductive work/activities. This itself is not a good thing. It brings negativity in your life while swaying away Positive Vibes that we get maybe from being social, doing something productive or positive.
OVERCOMING NEGATIVE THOUGHTS
2.1 Developing Core Values
The state of mind should be such that it is not easily swayed by other friends or people around you. This is very true if you are a student or just is experiencing work/professional life. The core values should be present in you irrespective of what are you feeling and the state of mind you are in.
2.2 Making Rational and Mature Decisions
The best way to make sure that happens is make yourself and the mind tough. That only is possible when you are rational and become mature in actions/decisions you take in your daily life. Every action has an effect on the outcome that is resulted from. The effect may be positive or negative depending on the action we take.
2.3 Embracing the Complexity of Real Life
Real-Life is not easy. It does not has only two ways to choose from – left or right. But millions of possibilities arise everyday. And each possibility you choose will result in completely different set of possibilities that arise. So what’s your perspective? Is it an easy choice? Of course, right! Because, we are unaware of the possibilities that arise which are in million. Million ways to choose from.
SELF-AWARENESS
3.1 Importance of Self-Awareness
Our mind is not in control of the body. That is why, you spend your day not thinking about the choices you make & the consequence of that action; Rather the carefree life we are a part of now especially the GEN-Z and people like GEN-W. We are not aware of what to do if we have negative mindset with negative energy like feeling sorrow et cetera. Because we aren’t aware that there is a way. Self-Aware is a different thing. Generation now a days in not even aware setting Self-Aware aside.
3.2 Understanding One’s Surroundings
To stop negative thoughts, foremost you should be aware of your surroundings you live in, work in, or study in. How the society functions, or people work there. Can i adjust there. How to not be affected by the surrounding/environment and focus on what i want to do. Distractions are a part of life. Everyone gets distracted due to Negative Thoughts neverthless the age because there is a goal in your life and you are not able to go in the right track. The reasons you could not go are called distractions and are a part of your life. Type of Friends can be a distraction.
Choosing the Path of Happiness
The only choice that we have in life is to move forward. A possibility that brings happiness to us and people like our parents. There is only one choice to make and yet we unravel and distract from the path leading to happiness and go to a lesser one.
4.1 The Importance of Mind Control
Our minds and bodies are not always in control, and achieving control over them is crucial. Start small by taking positive steps that lead you towards your end goal. Even dedicating 10 minutes a day to productive or positive work can make a significant difference in your mindset.
It will make you understand that other things are wasteful. The true joy that brings us in only in that which helps us achieve our true end goal and stop negative thoughts.
4.2 Starting Small
Take baby steps, just like a newborn learning to crawl, stand up, walk, and eventually run. Starting with small actions can lead to greater success in the long run.
NOW what about the DISTRACTIONS in your life.
HOW TO NOT GET DISTRACTED?
5.1 Surround Yourself with Positivity
Encircle yourself with positiivty. Rather than focusing on eliminating negative energy or vibes, focus on surrounding yourself with positivity. This can help you avoid distractions and maintain a positive mindset. Thus avoiding negative thoughts!
5.2 Do Productive Work
Doing productive work towards achieving your goals can bring you joy and a sense of accomplishment. For example, a student who aims for financial success can learn about investments and put that knowledge to use.
Doing school, work is ok for him. But in his sub-concious mind he knows that this is his daily work. And he will not get as much satisfaction as doing an extra work that no or few students are doing in school now-a-days and is helping him to realise his goal of financial success.
It will help stop negative thoughts.
5.3 How the human mind works
Our human minds are also such that we want a rich and successful life as soon as possible and work towards that goal while taking shortcuts. There comes a point when Disciplined brats who distributed their work over a longer period of time but maintained consistency overtakes the ones who showed hastiness.
Taking Action
6.1 Don’t Wait for Good Things to Come
Many people want to achieve something in the present, rather than waiting for it in the future. Taking action towards your goals can help you achieve success and happiness in the present.
Very few people are patient enough to wait for good things to come. That is not necessarily a bad thing. But the good ones over-weigh the bad ones here.
6.2 Learning from Others
Learning from others can be beneficial, but it’s important not to blindly follow someone else’s path. Instead, take the good teachings and implement them in your own life.
Don’t follow a figure or get affected. This is called smart work.
